Below we answer some commonly asked questions about our children's classes. If you have any further questions please do not hesitate to reach out!

FORMAT OF CLASSES-

Each weekly lesson will contain multiple videos as well as a downloadable extension packet that reinforces the skills. There is also a parent support video to help your family get the most from this class.

The great part about this format is that videos can be spread throughout the week or done all in one sitting and can be watched over and over again!

QUESTIONS FOR TEACHERS-

We will be checking in with your family throughout the class to see how everything is going and answer questions you may have. The best way to reach out with questions is our email: developingreadersacademy@gmail.com.

We are available Monday-Friday and will do our best to respond within 48 hours.

ACTIVITIES TO DO TOGETHER AT HOME-

Every weekly lesson will include activities that go along with the skills taught in that weeks lesson! You can pick and choose which activities you would like to try based on the needs of your child.

WHERE TO ACCESS YOUR CLASSES-

Click the "Log In To Your Class" tab at the top of this website to find the link to all classes. It's a good idea to bookmark that page!

PURCHASE ONCE FOR YOUR WHOLE HOUSEHOLD FAMILY-

When you purchase a class your whole household family can enjoy! Regardless of the number of children you have taking the class, you only need to purchase it once.

WHICH CLASS TO CHOOSE-

Which class to choose-
Because our classes are tailored to fit the specific needs of children based on age or skill we recommend placing each child in the appropriate class that would match their current skill/age.

Check out the "What Class is Right For You" page under our Classes and Sessions tab above. This will help you determine which class would be the best fit for your child!

ADVANCED LEARNERS-

We would recommend that if you child is 5 years old and up check out the "What Class is Right For You" page under the Courses and Session tab above. Younger than 5, we recommend choosing based on their age.

COURSE AVAILABILITY-

You will have access to everything in your course for up to two weeks after the last posted lesson. This means you can watch the videos over and over again or makeup anything missed. A new lesson will be posted each Sunday.

1:1 TUTORING-

At this time we do not have individual tutoring available as we are solidifying our foundational skills classes. If you are interested in tutoring, you can ask to be placed on our waitlist and we’ll reach out when we have more details.

TIME ZONES-

Because all of our classes are prerecorded, you can participate at any time on any day! Each lesson will be released Sunday night the week of the class.

SIGNING UP AND PAYING-

You can find all of our course offerings listed above under the "For Children" tab! From there it will redirect you to our Teachable platform which will have our class descriptions, pricing page and enrollment form.
Note: We only accept online payments at this time.

REFUNDS-

Our classes are paid on an 8 week basis. At this time, we will not be offering any refunds due to the flexibility of when classes can be completed.

DISCONTINUING SERVICES-

We reserve the right to discontinue enrollment at any time.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY-

There can be absolutely no recordings or duplications of our videos or materials.
